standard connectivity pack
Depending on the version, model and characteristics of the vehicle, the standard connectivity pack offers several functions:
- via My Renault app on your smartphone, you can consult various information about the vehicle, in particular total mileage, vehicle location, range in kilometers or miles, tyre pressure information
- to control the vehicle remotely from My Renault app : honk the horn or flash the lights to find it in a parking lot, or start the air conditioning remotely to precondition the vehicle
From My Renault app, you can remotely activate the air conditioning to precondition your vehicle.
data processed:
- Vehicle identification number (VIN),
- Vehicle equipment level,
- Preconditioning status (started, in progress, stopped)
retention period:
- The link between the VIN (including the equipment level) and the My Renault account is kept on our servers as long as the customer does not delete the vehicle from his/her account or the vehicle is not paired with another My Renault account;
- Vehicle usage data are stored on our servers for a period of 90 days. Data get purged as soon as no service requiring these data is activated on the vehicle.

From My Renault app, you can remotely activate yout vehicle’s horn or lights to easily locate it.
data processed:
- Vehicle identification number (VIN),
- Pin code used to secure remote control functions,
- History of requests to turn on/off headlights and horn,
- Service usage data (logs).
retention period:
- The link between the VIN (including the equipment level) and the My Renault account is kept on our servers as long as the customer does not delete the vehicle from his/her account or the vehicle is not paired with another My Renault account;
- Data related to the use of the service (logs concerning the use of the service (error/success code, etc.) are kept for 6 months on our servers.

From My Renault app, you can remotely consult various information related to the current state of the vehicle.
data processed:
- Vehicle identification number (VIN),
- Total mileage,
- Vehicle range,
- Tire pressure

From My Renault app, this service allows you to remotely pinpoint your vehicle’s last position, which will be displayed on the screen of your My Renault app.
data processed:
- Vehicle identification number (VIN),
- Vehicle geolocation at the end of each journey,
- Connection logs.
retention period:
- Geolocation data is retained until a new vehicle position is recorded;
- The link between the VIN (including the equipment level) and the My Renault account is stored on our servers as long as the customer does not delete the vehicle from his/her account or the vehicle is not paired with another My Renault account
- Data related to the use of the service (logs concerning the use of the service: error/success code, etc.) are kept for 6 months on our servers ;
- Vehicle usage data are stored on our servers for a period of 90 days. The data ate purged as soon as no service requiring these data is activated on the vehicle.

remote system updates
the service enables the update of some of the car’s softwares using Over the Air technology (without going to the service center).
data processed:
- The vehicle identification number (VIN),
- Connection logs,
- Latest software versions, configuration and calibration, and
- Update history.
retention period:
- Connection logs are kept for twelve (12) months, and
- All other data are retained for the life of the vehicle.

associated connected services
Those two packs enable you to access several functionalities from your vehicle’s multimedia screen :
For the Navigation Pack:
- Access the Google Maps application to obtain real-time GPA navigation data and traffic information.
- Activate the Google Assistant, for voice-controlled navigation, vehicle functions and information without taking your eyes off the road;
- Access Google Play, and use applications downloaded from Google Play on your multimedia screen (media applications, audio streaming, etc.)
The Infotainment Pack enables you to use, in your vehicle’s multimedia screen, applications downloaded from Google Play (media applications, streaming audio etc.).
